MELBOURNE TOPS LIVEABLE SURVEY AGAIN

THE AUSTRALIANS

* Melbourne tops the index for the 7th time in a row with perfect scores for health, education and infrastructure

* Adelaide equal 5th with Canada’s Calgary

* Perth creeps into the 10 at 7th

* Sydney 11th for a second year, with The Economist blaming terror concerns for the drop from seventh in 2015

* Brisbane steady in 16th
